Users AD account's have been migrated using stsadm.exe -o migrateuser -oldlogin olddomain\userid -newlogin newdomain\uerid-ignoresidhistory. How can we update the account name filed in the User Profile? SIte Settings > Manage Profile Database > View User Profile, account name is still the old domain name after running migrateuser. Hi Kazzmc, Moving SharePoint 2003 boxes to new domains is not supported by Microsoft. The difficulty with moving domains (from DOMAIN1 to DOMAIN2, say) is that all items associated with specific DOMAIN1\users will no longer be valid links. You may have inaccurate: - user-profile information - portal contacts lists - user alerts - my sites - site ownership/area ownership You can try to use SPUserUtil to fix the issue, however it is not supported by Microsoft.
